c's 44th week

So this week has been quite the exciting week.  Probably the biggest news of the week is that Matt's mom, C's grandma, is in town for the next 2 months.  This is super as C hasn't seen her in about 8 months and it will be so nice for him to get to know her again.  Hopefully this time round, he'll be able to remember her a bit better when she goes back home to Canada.

C's sleep has also been better this week as he has only been getting up once and at most twice per night.  We are loving this change and are so hoping it will stick.  I'm pretty sure the reason he has been sleeping better is because his 8th tooth has popped out.  That's right, our little boy of 10 months has 8 teeth! He is all even again as he now has all 4 of his top front teeth and all 4 of his bottom front teeth showing.  Such a toothy smile!

Halloween was this week and we didn't really get to celebrate it as it isn't big in Thailand.  C did dress up, but because he is still so young, we didn't make too much of a fuss this year.  There are a few foreigners who have parties and some neighborhoods even do trick or treating, so hopefully when C gets older, we'll be able to participate it in all.  Yay for dressing up and getting candy!

Another big thing was that C came to the school nursery this week for half a day.  The school Matt and I work at provides 2 rooms where babies can stay all day as long as a nanny comes too.  We haven't used it as C gets a lot of attention at home, but since he loves being with other kids, I thought it might be a good time to bring him to the nursery occasionally.  Right now, there are 2 other boys in the nursery, so it was loads of fun for C.  I'm thinking of having C come to the nursery once a week, so we'll see how it goes.

...Things to Remember...
- C really loves to smile and flirt with others.  He will give a big old grin and squint his eyes to make "sweet eyes" at people.  It is pretty adorable!
- C has been spoiled by having both his Apo and Grandma in town at the same time.  Lots of love for this little kiddo!

  3. My kiddos had a lot of teeth by the time they were his age too! If not the same amount, then probably close to it. When did his first tooth come in? My son had his first too at 5 1/2 months and my daughter was barely 4 months.

  5. Wow, that's a lot of teeth! I always think he's older than he actually is. Maybe it's the teeth! He is just precious. Love the stitch costume!
