c's 9th week

This week has been a rough week of saying goodbye to family, traveling back to Thailand, and dealing with jet lag.  Matt and I are exhausted while C is happily moving along as though nothing has changed.  We are so blessed to have such a wonderful baby boy who is able to roll with the punches and able to just continue on without a care in the world.  We are so thankful for his good, even temperament and the fact that he is so calm and not (too) fussy.

This week C continued to charm me with the new things he is doing.  One of the cutest things is that he has begun to blow bubbles now.  I don't know why spit is cute, but it is on this baby! HA! I also love how much he is talking these days.  He talks to us and also talks to himself when he is left alone.  It is also really sweet to see him comfort himself to sleep with his coos and with the sucking of his fingers/fist.  Ahh...he is just the best baby ever! :)

Day 57 (2/26)
It was cold and super windy at the beach in Canada...brrr!

Day 58
So, so glad C got to meet his Grandpa David.
You will be missed, but not forgotten David...xoxo

Day 59 (2/28)
We are the proud owners of a City Mini Baby Jogger Stroller! YEAH!
Here we are at the airport getting ready for our big trip back home.

Day 60 (3/1)
C was a fabulous traveler and slept in the bassinet provided by the airline for most of our trip home!
Check this and this out to learn all about our crazy travel story.

ADORABLE!
Day 61
Up early and so happy...thank you jet lag!

Day 62 (3/3)
A few days late due to traveling, but here are some pictures from C's 2 month old photo shoot.
He was a bit out of it, so it was hard to get him to smile much.

So kissable!
Day 63
C is a hand sucker these days and tries to shove his whole fist into his mouth when he is tired or hungry.  It is pretty fun to watch!

Back home in Chiang Mai!

...Things to Remember...
- C's begun to start talking a whole lot more these days.  He'll talk to us and if left alone, he'll just talk to himself.  It is super cute!
- C also smiles more and is now smiling with us and at us....so smiling with a purpose.  I love it!
- C has begun to blow bubbles recently, which is pretty adorable.  This also means that he now also drools a wee bit too.  Time to start using the many bibs we have.  :)
- C has always enjoyed sucking on his hand, but now that his fingers aren't in little mitts anymore, he is definitely loving it more! He will suck on his fingers, the palm of his hand, and his whole fist depending on how hungry or tired he seems to be.  HA!

  1. The laugh image is stunning but the sucking fingers one at the end really has a special beauty to it
