winter in bridgewater

This is my first time experiencing a real winter and I have been enjoying it....for the most part! :) When we found out that we were heading here to Canada this winter, I figured that I would just be cold the entire time.  However, it really hasn't been so bad thanks to the indoor heating, which is something we don't have much of in Asia.  Also having the right jackets have made a big difference too! I am learning that it is all about layering and getting indoors as fast as possible! HA!

We haven't been out a whole lot, but I have managed to snap some pictures of all the snow nearby.  I just can't seem to get enough of it.  I know I've said it before, but snow is beautiful! I never knew it sparkled so much! I've traipsed about in the soft snow and also in the crunchy snow.  We've thrown snow balls at each other with a wet snow.  Who knew there were so many types of snow?!? My favorite though is the powdery snow as it is just so dreamy and delicate.

Snow!

One of many accidents we've seen.

ICE from the river.

The salt water river frozen over!

Upside down...reflection

    1. Thank you very much Lizzy. The reason for being home isn't the best, but it is nice to be back, even if it is only for a few weeks!
