wong tai sin

Wong Tai Sin is a famous temple here in Hong Kong on the Kowloon side.  It is a Taoist temple that many people visit with the highlight often being getting ones fortune told.  It is a busy temple and full of people giving offerings, lighting incense, and making wishes and prayers.  Enjoy the pictures!

    1. Thank you Patty! :) I'm so happy to share a bit of my life with you. I am with you and I love to travel as well. There are simply too many places to go though, so I'm really enjoying seeing everyone's world through blogs....makes it almost okay that I can't always make it to the different places. In actuality, it just makes my list longer of places I want to see. HA! xo

  5. You got some great shots here. I've been meaning to visit, but in all my 15+ years here, I've never been to Wong Tai Sin temple.

    1. Thanks! :) You know, I totally understand. When you are in your own space, it is easy not to go outside of your neighborhood and play tourist. Even I have gotten lazy about seeing more of Hong Kong and I've only been here for 2 and half years. I'll motivate you if you motivate me! :D HA!

    1. Thanks! It is pretty remarkable seeing something so old in the midst of all the modern sky rises. Glad you caught on that detail! :D

    1. Thankfully there is always a next time! :) It is pretty cool and the nunnery is also really pretty. There are just too many places to go and to many things to see.
