It is now December, which means that Christmas has now arrived! I love Christmas time so much for a number of reasons. I love the TRUE meaning behind Christmas. I love Christmas music (and I’d like to point out that I've waited till now to start playing any). I love the Christmas season which includes cool weather and allows me to wear warm clothing that is snuggly and comfortable. I love Christmas trees, Christmas lights, and all the fun and festive Christmas décor everywhere (minus my apartment at this point). I love Christmas flavors (hot chocolate and cookies and gingerbread men). I love being around family during Christmas time (especially since we haven’t been together for a while). Finally, I have to be honest and say that I am one of those people who simply loves getting Christmas gifts and opening up presents (that is the child in me...hahaha).
Since it is December first, Matt also bought me an advent calendar to open up everyday. This is the first time I’ve ever had one that contains chocolate and that is all mine. It was such a sweet surprise and I’m going to enjoy the chocolate pieces everyday (as I’ve given up chocolate for a while). Yay for Christmas!

I too love Christmas....Mathew got an advent calender every year. In Asia I do not feel the same way about Christmas, it just doesn't feel like Christmas without the cold, snow and of cource family. I will so enjoy seeing and being with you and Mathew on the holidays. I am missing my sons and need to have a very big hug. Can not wait to see you. it will not be long yet. Love the pictures of your kids... the turkey hats were a winner! take care lots of love. J
