It's been a busy week and I just didn't get my camera out as much as I should have. Oops. It is times like this when I wish I had an iphone as my Nikon is a bit big and bulky and not nearly as convenient. That said, doing these weekly shots does keep me motivated to get out the good camera and use it regularly, which works out as I would hate for it to be sitting in the closet collecting dust.
Lots going on this week, the worse of which is that C's great grandmother, his Atai, is quite ill. We've been to the hospital pretty regularly in order to check in on her as things do not look good. We are hopeful that she will get better and that we will have some more time together.

C taking a rest.
C hanging at the mall with his Grandpa.
Oh man...this little dude has got MOVES!
We occasionally will have ourselves a little dance party. YEAH!
C still loves to help out with the sweeping.
...All About C...
C's got some bad habits going on these days. The worse one for me is that he loves to pull at my neck, face, and hair while nursing. The worse for me is when he reaches for my hair as he pulls hard! I'm still losing lots of hair (when will it end?!?), so I really don't like it when he manages to grab a few strands of hair and then proceeds to yank them out. Ouch.
C is talking lots more these days. He continues to babble a lot, but also is picking up on more words. He is officially saying 'mama' full time now. Why I was in such a hurry for him to say 'mama'? Since he started calling out for me, he hasn't stopped! C also can say the word 'ohoh', which is the Chinese word for fruit. He requests to eat fruit regularly, so this has been a great word for him to learn. A final word he has picked up is 'nana' for banana (an English word finally). He loves his bananas!

Thank you for stopping by my blog, comments encourage me too :) Your son is very handsome! That's so cute that he likes to help sweep. I hope his great grandmother gets well! It's scary when loved ones are ill.
ReplyDeleteHe is so cute. So fun watching him grow, but I hope he grows out of yanking your hair soon! Ouch, indeed!
